Sacramento State’s Master’s of Business Administration for Executives is a cohort-based, AACSB-accredited degree program designed for experienced professionals and managers who aspire to leadership positions. Students may enter the MBA for Executives program in Fall or Spring. The EMBA was developed and delivered in close collaboration with local business leaders to address both individual and organizational development needs. On the individual level, this innovative and dynamic program provides participants with the business acumen and network necessary to advance to leadership positions, or to strike out on their own. On the organizational level, the program supports public, private, and nonprofit employers’ succession-planning efforts by preparing talented candidates for executive responsibilities. The curriculum emphasizes business applications of cutting-edge theory and research, to help participants leverage the knowledge they acquire in the classroom to lead their organizations to real-world success. Classes meet on Fridays (3-7pm) and Saturdays (8-2pm) at business partners' sites throughout the Sacramento region.
