Durham University is a collegiate public research university in Durham, North East England, founded by an Act of Parliament in 1832 and incorporated by Royal Charter in 1837. It was one of the first universities to commence tuition in England for more than 600 years, after Oxford and Cambridge, and is described as the third oldest university in England.

Study in United Kingdom

  • The United Kingdom is one of the world’s leading financial centers. Other sectors that contribute to the UK’s economy include manufacturing, services, construction, and tourism.
  • There are 162 higher education institutions in the country, which are all held to strict standards by the government and feature strongly in world rankings. Each year, about 450,000 international students study in the UK.
  • International students who have successfully completed an undergraduate or Master’s degree will be able to benefit from two years’ work experience in the UK upon graduation.

Program description

You will study at two UNESCO World Heritage Sites - Durham in the UK and the Upper Middle Rhine region in Germany. As the Durham-EBS Executive MBA is delivered entirely in English in a classroom setting, you can continue to work full-time whilst studying as most teaching is delivered once each month in three-day blocks (Thursday through to Saturday). The programme’s strong international focus is also reflected in the core and elective modules, with the International Business in Context elective module delivered at a top business destination. The business and alumni connections you gain will also support you in furthering your career. This dual award draws on both UK-specific and European experience giving you an insight into leadership in today’s international business world.
