Eastern Michigan University is a public university in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The university was founded in 1849 as Michigan State Normal School. The university offers more than 200 undergraduate majors, minors and certificates, plus more than 150 graduate programs to 21,105 students.
The MBA program at Eastern Michigan University provides you with innovative, applied and global knowledge and skills for today's competitive business environment. Most students complete their MBA in two and a half years, but you’ll have up to six to complete your degree. The courses are offered in the evenings at the College of Business in downtown Ypsilanti, some fully online, and some in hybrid format. The MBA curriculum emphasizes communication, ethics, interdisciplinary knowledge and analytical and critical thinking skills. The MBA program of study requires a minimum of 36 credits and is comprised of four parts: foundation (18 credits, may be waived based on previous coursework), core (18 credits), restricted Electives (6 credits) and specialization Courses (12–15 credits).
