North University is the main academic center for higher education in northern Colombia, located in Barranquilla, Atlántico. It was founded in 1966 by a business group led by Karl C. Parrish. It started academic operation on July 11, 1966, with 58 students and 10 teachers in core courses of business administration and engineering.
The Master of Business Administration at Universidad del Norte is a program designed for executives with experience in the labor field who require a high level of education in the management field. The structure of the program is clearly focused on organization and strategy issues, with a strong orientation towards the internationalization of companies. Its main objective is to contribute to the integral formation of socially responsible executives, to respond with rigor, opportunity and relevance to the analysis and solution of business problems within increasingly competitive and complex environments, contributing in this way to the economic and social progress of the region and the country.
