The Darden School of Business is the graduate business school associated with the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Darden School offers MBA, Ph.D. and Executive Education programs. The School was founded in 1955 and is named after Colgate Whitehead Darden, Jr., a former Democratic congressman, governor of Virginia, and former president of the University of Virginia.

Darden offer Executive MBA format in one world-class location: our state of the art facility in the Washington, D.C., area. Our Executive formats operate on a schedule designed specifically for busy working professionals, leveraging both in-person and virtual components so students minimize their time away from home and the office and maximize their time in class. Darden’s innovative EMBA curriculum offers our interactive case method instruction delivered by Darden’s world-renowned faculty. Combined with our global network, this academic experience uniquely positions you to advance your career. The convenient format of Darden's EMBA format combine monthly residencies in our state-of-the-art Washington, D.C., area facility with distance learning and at least one international residency. The core program structure is ten, two-month long quarters, with roughly two thirds of the program delivered in person and one third through distance learning.
