The American University of Beirut is a private, secular and independent university in Beirut, introduced business education in 1900. The Suliman S. Olayan School of Business was established as an independent school of business in 2000, named in honor of the late international Saudi businessman and AUB trustee. OSB has a number of research hubs and initiatives covering a wide range of research areas, including entrepreneurship, innovation, corporate social responsibility, sustainability data analytics, finance, and corporate governance.
