Program description

All EIU MBA students complete our MBA Core of six courses for 18 credit hours. These courses are designed to provide you with the expected set of knowledge and skills that you would find in most AACSB MBA programs. The MBA program prepares students for employment in positions of leadership in small and large businesses, industry, government, and non-profit organizations in a contemporary global environment. The program emphasizes the application of analytical tools and related skills that are essential for making informed business decisions. The Accountancy Concentration prepares students to meet the educational requirements necessary to take the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination. Students considering this concentration are encouraged to review the Illinois Board of Examiners requirements for the CPA exam.
