Southeastern Louisiana University is a state-funded public university in Hammond, Louisiana, United States. It was founded in 1925 by Linus A. Sims, the principal of Hammond High School, as Hammond Junior College, located in a wing of the high school building. Sims succeeded in getting the campus moved to north Hammond in 1928, when it became known as Southeastern Louisiana College. It achieved university status in 1970.

Program description
The purpose of the Master of Business Administration program at Southeastern is to provide you with an interdisciplinary learning experience that will prepare you with the tools, knowledge, and experiences necessary for you to succeed in today’s competitive environment. The MBA degree program is 33 hours consisting of 8 core/required courses and student selection of 3 electives. The MBA program has three prerequisites which are needed before scheduling certain courses. Most students with an undergraduate business degree from an accredited business school are likely to have already taken these courses.
