Program description
With an MBA from the College of Business at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, you’ll be equipped to handle the demands of the current marketplace while learning how to prepare yourself and your business for what’s yet to come. Our distinguished faculty speak from first-hand, relevant experience with the day-to-day business world, so they will engage you with applied lessons and tangible course work. A UHCL MBA will provide you the tools for efficient and effective business management through training in quantitative analysis and developing the interpersonal skills all good leaders possess. This plan leads to the MBA. The MBA degree requires a minimum of 36 hours: Eight required courses (24 hours) and four elective courses (12 hours). Depending on a student's academic background, an additional foundation course (3 hours) may be required. There are three admission sessions during the year: in spring, fall and summer.
