The UTS MBA is designed for early career professionals seeking to either extend their knowledge and capabilities into managerial roles, or to change careers into a new field of business. The course comprises 96 credit points, made up of eight compulsory core subjects (totalling 48 credit points) and eight elective subjects (totalling 48 credit points). Electives can be taken in one of three ways: as one major (eight subjects, totalling 48 credit points), as two sub-majors (usually four subjects, totalling 24 credit points for each sub-major), or as one sub-major (24 credit points), plus four mixed electives (24 credit points).
