Program description

The core of the MBA curriculum provides an integrative exposure to and depth in all of the different functional areas of business, enabling students to build a 360-degree view of how all the pieces fit into the larger picture within an organization. Our approach is to train leaders who are problem-solvers, moving from analysis to application of concepts to solving problems in real-world settings. MBA courses are taught exclusively at the WSU Davis Campus. Almost all MBA courses are taught in 8-week blocks (two blocks per semester - fall, spring and summer). Each class requires one in-class meeting per week, as well as engagement with the online portion of the course throughout the rest of the week. Students with undergraduate degrees in fields other than business are eligible for the 54 credit hour program, which includes 15 cr. hrs. of Foundations courses designed to give them the tools they need to succeed in the MBA curriculum.  Foundations are spread throughout the first year of the curriculum, and students may take these courses along with other MBA courses which have no prerequisites.
