The McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA program is designed to meet the development needs of experienced managers who are already in senior management positions or are preparing for them. In keeping with the reality of the Canadian business community, the program adopts a bilingual format . Presentations and group discussions take place in both French and English. Candidates must understand both languages, but may participate in exchanges, write assignments and write exams in the language of their choice. Rather than considering each aspect in isolation using the current method, the EMBA offers an integrated and multidisciplinary approach to management, focused on real practices. It is structured according to the managerial Mindsets theory, developed by Henry Mintzberg, a best- selling author of McGill University and renowned thinker.
