Istanbul University is a prominent Turkish university located in Istanbul. The main campus is adjacent to Beyazıt Square in Fatih, the capital district of the province, on the European side of the city. It was founded as an institution of higher education named the Darülfünûn on 23 July 1846; but the Medrese which was founded immediately after Mehmed IIconquered Constantinople (Istanbul) in 1453 is regarded as the precursor to the Darülfünûn which evolved into Istanbul University in 1933.

Program description
The primary objective of this program is to prepare participants who have completed their university education in a different field apart from Business Administration to take active part in major leading corporations and companies in business arena by helping to improve the abilities and qualities of participants in contemporary business topics and research, problem-solving, analytical thinking and effective and rational decision making. This program is offered to be completed in 3 semesters, consisting of total 36 credits. Sessions are held on four evenings a week from 19:00 to 22:00 at Istanbul University Graduate School of Business in Avcılar.
