BBS is an international business school, created by the University of Bologna, the oldest university in the world, to shape a new generation of business leaders, capable of driving international growth and digital transformation, with a view to sustainability. Our academic interdisciplinary and strongly practice-oriented approach offers a unique learning experience in collaboration with Italian “industry champions” especially from the automotive, food and wine, sustainability, automation&robotics and luxury fields. I was part of a class of 54 students from 32 different countries. The university brings over professors from other countries too. Exchanging opinions and sharing our own experiences with each other is fascinating. Besides my master degree education, I learned a lot about other countries, other cultures, and a lot about Italian culture, which I fell in love with. The career building program helped me find a job faster than other business schools I’ve heard of, that don’t even have a career building program. BBS encourages innovation a lot. Students are encouraged to share their experiences from which not only students but also professors learn from. I made friends from all over the world. I never felt discriminated for any reason. Even admissions personnel didn’t treat me as a number but called me by my name, which was not the case in other universities I applied to. If I went back to the past, I’d attend BBS again. It was an amazing experience, that lead me to the nice life I now have.
